Terms of Use

These terms cover the SiteVolt website and the website design, build, and care services we sell. By starting a build or using this site, you agree to them. We've kept them in plain language on purpose.

1. What we provide

SiteVolt designs, builds, hosts, and maintains custom websites for small businesses. A build includes the pages, copy, and setup described in our offer at the time you start, and your site goes live within 14 days of kickoff. There's no sales call: we collect what we need from you over email or text (we're happy to talk if you'd rather).

2. Billing

• You pay $1 today to claim a build spot. The standard $8,500 build fee is waived when you start your monthly plan.
• Your first 14 days after launch are free. Your plan is $147/month, billed three months at a time ($441) and paid in advance, with the first charge 14 days after your site goes live. We tell you the exact amount and date up front, and remind you before any charge.
• You can cancel anytime. Any full months you've paid for but not used are refunded — cancel one month into a three-month period and we refund the other two.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.

3. Our guarantees

• 14-day switch-on: your site is live within 14 days of kickoff, or your first real payment is on us until it is.
• Love the design: we redesign (as many rounds as it takes) before you ever pay a real invoice.
• Don't love it after launch: for 14 days after your site goes live, you can walk away with a full refund, your old site restored exactly as it was, plus $99 for your time.
• Cancel anytime: no contract, and any full months you haven't used are refunded (see Billing above).
• No surprises: the next amount and date are always told to you in advance.

4. Cancellation & ownership

You can cancel at any time; any full months you've paid for but not used are refunded. Your domain and your content — the words, photos, and materials that belong to your business — are yours from day one and go wherever you go. The site design and build remain ours: when you cancel, we restore your previous website exactly as it was and hand back your content and domain settings. Hosting, updates, and maintenance by us end when the plan ends.

5. Your responsibilities

You confirm you have the rights to the text, photos, logos, and other material you give us to put on your site, and that your business and its content are lawful. You're responsible for keeping your own domain registration current unless we've agreed to manage it for you.

6. What we're not liable for

We build and run your site with care, but we can't guarantee specific business results, uninterrupted hosting, or third-party services (domains, payment processors, booking tools). To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim.

7. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we'll post the new version here with a new effective date, and email active clients about anything that affects billing.
